Swimming lessons

Teaching swimming was the first motivation that brought me into coaching and sharing my passions. Since I graduated as a swimming instructor in 2007, I have taught hundreds of children in 1 on 1 sessions and perfected my teaching technique to adapt myself to all kinds of children’s profiles.

I first specialized my teaching for very young babies, starting from the age of 4 months old,  and quickly found my best to bring to those over 3 years old.

After more than 12 years into sport education and sharpening my teaching throughout different types of activities, I am very excited to have written my first “learn how to teach swimming book” for swimming coaches and parents involved in the process of teaching their own kids. It includes a lot of video tutorials, and clear and easy tips to make quick progress. To be released very soon.

I am so thankful I took the opportunity to teach in various parts of the world and a vast range of profiles. Starting with suburban kids in New Zealand and France, I then taught middle class Europeans children while I was a lifeguard on the Atlantic ocean as a side job, before specialising in high end clientele in Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera for over 10 seasons now.

During the first summer of the Covid19 pandemic, as I could not travel back to France, I dedicated my time supervising and organising swimming classes for children of Siargao island in the Philippines with a non profit organisation (SeaShine Siargao) which was created to keep on bringing education and activities to kids as they were not allowed to go to school, because of the pandemic.

Prodigies do exist, though reasonable expectation is key:

On average, within their fifth year, your child can become independent in the water. Learning how to float, breath, rest, and move in the water whilst playing. Together we will build a solid foundation for an entire life of confidence and safety in this wonderful element. Lessons are normally based on 30 minutes classes, so the child can hold the maximum of their concentration whilst having fun in the water. A 5 years old child would be able to float, hold their breath, and swim 10 metres after 10 swimming lessons. Not only you, parents, will be proud and reassured, your child will be safe and confident in the water and will open a whole new world to explore!

I am honoured to share my passion with your children. You can make a booking now on:  Contact
