FREE DIVING

Introduction to Freediving:

Imagine flying in the air, gliding weightless in slow motion in a silent world to attain a pure state of bliss and relaxation. Free diving will bring you all this in the water element. Adding the water contact is known to enlighten your senses, unconsciously reminding us our days in the womb.

Free diving is an extreme sport. It includes risks taken by the participants. Hence it is very important, if not mandatory to practice it with professionals. You will learn first the safety rules. It is absolutely essential to dive in safe conditions. And it is my goal to share with you my passion of the water, and make you successful in your first breath holding. During your sessions you will learn and practice the following points:

  • To prepare yourself before free diving , mentally and physically

  • To get familiar with free diving equipment

  • The safety basis of free diving

  • How to breath before your dive

  • the duck dive technique : how to correctly enter the water for free dive immersion

  • efficient kicking technique

  • how to equalize during your descent

  • the recovery breathing technique

  • how to position your body during a free dive
